What is the dashboard?
The developer.deere.com platform comes with a Dashboard page for every registered user. This Dashboard page displays alerts and notifications about a user’s app projects, recent activities, and displays a list of the user’s discussion board postings. Use your Dashboard to keep track of your app and John Deere APIs.

The Dashboard is a configurable information system used to view and manage event notifications relating to activity that occurs on your developer.deere.com account.

When you log in to your account at developer.deere.com, your Dashboard is the first page that displays. Here, you can see all the notifications about your app projects and the APIs that you are following. You can also view a combined list of all your relevant activity since your last login.

Your Dashboard collects all discussions, comments, and invitations associated with your application projects and the APIs you choose to follow. Basically, it displays your newsfeed.

Email notifications of activity displayed on your dashboard can be set on your User Settings page.
How do notifications work?
Notifications are displayed at the top of your Dashboard. You can see your notifications by clicking the number next to the Dashboard link in the top navigation.

Five notification entries are displayed by default, and the bottom of the notifications window displays the total number of notifications. View all notifications by clicking the View all Notifications link. Reselect the number next to the Dashboard link in the top navigation to collapse the display to the default number of notifications.

View notification details by click on the name of the notification. Clicking the X button removes the notification from the listing.
How do I filter information on my dashboard?
The newsfeed on a user’s Dashboard can be filtered using the following sort-controls. These controls are on the gray bar to the left of your Dashboard window.
  • Type: This sort-control allows you to filter based on the type activity, like discussions, tickets, alerts, and requests.
  • Sort By: This control allows you to filter based on the most popular, most marked, or most recent notifications.
  • Search: Type in a tag or keyword to filter your Dashboard with relevant information.
How can I see a combined list of activities for APIs I'm interested in?
You can customize your dashboard to show updates only for the APIs that you are interested in. There are a few ways you can choose which API updates will appear on your dashboard:
  • Follow an API. Open an API’s profile, and then click the gray Follow button on the API Board or API Details page. Updates and activities of APIs that you follow will appear on your Dashboard.
  • Add an API to your app. Open an API’s profile, and click on the +- Access button on the API Details page. This will give your app access to the API, and updates and activities of the API will now appear on your Dashboard.
  • Become a member of an App Team. Notifications about APIs that are licensed with the app display on both your Dashboard and the App Board.
