AEMP and AgLogic™ are production-only APIs, and do not have a Sandbox environment. To connect your app to these APIs for either development or production, follow the steps on the Connect with an API and Develop & Test pages.
For MyJohnDeere API, once you have developed your app and tested it in the Sandbox environment, you can move to the production environment. You will then be able to make your app available for public use. Deere staff will work with you through the following steps when you are ready to move to production.
  1. Sign License Agreements. You will need to sign the API License Agreement. If you will be using our offline SDK's, you will also need to sign either the EIC License Agreement or the ADAPT Plugins License Agreement.
  2. Run regression tests.Send the date and time of your regression tests to APIDevSupport@JohnDeere.com, and then run them.
  3. Deere validation & approval. Deere will review and validate the logs of your regression tests.
  4. Request production access. Deere API staff will approve your request once our review of your regression logs is complete. To request production access:
    1. Navigate to your app profile.
    2. Click on the APIS option in the left navigation.
    3. Click on the Request Access button under the Production column.
    4. Choose the licenses you wish to access, and then click through the API Agreement and Accept it. Deere API Admin will receive a notification.
Once you complete all the steps above, you will be notified and receive the production URLs. Then, you will need to:
  1. Change code to production URLs.
  2. Transition to Production Support. If you have questions before or during this transition, continue to mark "Development" on the support tickets. If you have successfully transitioned to production support, mark "Production" on your support tickets.
